A Contemporary Garden for Modern Living

Works Carried Out

The project began with a complete site clearance across both gardens, including the removal of an existing pond and driveway to create a clean, workable foundation. From there, the space was fully reimagined, with careful attention given to restructuring levels, improving circulation and opening up long views across the valley. New retaining structures, surfaces and planting were introduced to bring order to the sloping site, creating a cohesive layout that feels considered, balanced and easy to move through.

Outcome

The finished garden is a large, contemporary family space with clearly defined areas for dining, relaxing and everyday use. The design works naturally with the slope of the site, using changes in level to add interest while maintaining a strong sense of flow throughout the garden. Thoughtful planting, lighting and material choices ensure the space feels usable year-round, delivering a practical yet refined garden that supports modern family living and entertaining.
