Tom Child Garden Landscapes was established in nineteen ninety-five, bringing together Tom’s passion for gardening with a strong foundation in building and construction. Before specialising in landscape work, Tom trained and worked within his father’s building company, gaining formal construction qualifications and practical experience on site. This early grounding shaped a practical, detail-led approach that continues to influence every project today. As demand grew through referrals and repeat clients, Tom began applying these construction skills to landscape projects — combining structure, materials and planting into cohesive outdoor environments.
